If you're an agency using Vocal Video, you can centrally manage all your client accounts from a single user id. You may also be eligible for a 10% discount on your total bill when setting up your account in this way.
How does licensing work for my client accounts?
Each client organization will have its own account. This means that each client account will have its own private workspace, with separate branding, video storage, collectors, and videos.
If your client organization has a multi-user plan (Team or Professional), you'll be able to invite client users to the account so they can review collectors and draft videos and download and embed published videos. Video storage and other features for your client accounts will also depend on the subscription plan selected for each client.
You can contact support to add additional accounts at any time. Each client account must have a paid Team, or Professional subscription. You can have a mix of different subscription types across your client accounts.
How do I receive the agency discount?
Our subscriptions apply on a per-client account basis, with payment happening at the account-level using one or more payment methods. To be eligible for the discount, you must first have the agency discount option set up on their account. A 10% discount will then automatically be applied to the total of each bill when your account contains at least one client subscribed to a Team or Professional plan.
Do I need my own plan as an Agency?
No, you don't. You should only create an account for your agency if you wish to collect and create videos for your own agency's marketing.
If you do use Vocal Video on your own behalf, your subscription will be eligible for the same 10% discount as your client accounts.
What does multiple client accounts look like in Vocal Video?
Once logged in, you will be able to toggle between all the client accounts that you have access to. Once you select an account, the experience is exactly the same as a normal Vocal Video account in terms of setting up collectors and publishing videos.
You will be able to add new users to each client account. Each user will only have access to the account that you have granted them access to.
How does billing work?
Billing occurs at an account level. Each client account will have its own payment method, different billing period, and can have a different plan. An invoice is generated with each payment.
Can I have my client pay directly for their own plan?
Yes. You will need to give your client access to their account. Once granted access, your client can log in, select their desired plan, and input their preferred payment method. The agency discount will be applied.
Setting up your Account
The agency discount billing option has no additional cost.
To qualify for the discount, you'll first need to create a Vocal Video Account for your first client using an email address that has the same email domain as your agency's website. After creating your agency's user id and initial client account, reach out to our Support team for further instructions on activating the discount option on your account.
