Sharing Scripts with a Teleprompter

Vocal Video Collectors do not come with teleprompters. If you want your respondent to speak off of a script, we recommend sharing that through email when sending the Video Collector link. We find that respondents make much better videos when they have time to prepare before they begin recording.

However, here’s one way to provide a script to your respondents.

Note: This feature is only available for respondents recording on their desktop, not their phone. 

By each question, click the cog symbol. Then scroll down to Custom Tips for Respondents. 

Here, you can provide a script for your respondents. When respondents are prompted to record their video on desktop, this script will stay to the left of their recording.

However, due to the UI of smartphone cameras, this script will only show before the recording and not during.
