Getting Notified When New Responses Are Received

When you create a video collector, you'll automatically receive an email notification when a new response is received. But what if you want to receive response notifications on a video collector you didn't create? Now you can!

Simply navigate to the video collector and click the alert icon in the header to enable response notifications. When enabled, you'll get an email notification whenever this video collector receives a new response.If you don't want to receive response notifications for a particular video collector anymore, simply click the same icon to disable them. You can do this even if you created the video collector.

Note: if you want to see which other users are following a particular collector, go to the collector's Notifications page:

If you want to automatically be set to follow any new video collectors in a workspace, you can do so from your Notification Settings page (see below).

Getting Notified When Comments Are Posted

When you post a comment on a video or a video collector response, you will automatically be subscribed to comments on that item -- we call it "following the conversation". You can manually follow/unfollow comments on a video or response by clicking the follow/unfollow button at the top of the comments sidebar.

@-mentions

If you are @-mentioned in a comment, you'll automatically be set to follow the conversation on that item. (note that if you've unfollowed a conversation but are @-mentioned in a new comment, you'll be resubscribed to the conversation. Otherwise, you might miss a message specifically addressed to you.)

Your Notifications Dashboard

When you have unread comments in conversations you're following, you'll see a red badge next to the notifications icon in the purple top banner. Click that icon to go to your notifications overview page. Clicking on any conversation will take you to that item's page and catch you up to the latest comments.

Notification Settings

Go to Settings > Your Settings > Notifications to manage notification settings.

From here, you can enable/disable the weekly digest email (only sent when there is relevant activity in your account), auto-follow newly-created collectors, and see a list of all collectors and conversations you're currently following.
